We need your help
today to get our NEW Helping Hand ministry off the ground.
That's right.
We've started a ministry to help those who are in the process of
recovery. It was almost like we were forced into it because
agencies that provide Christ Centered counseling are just not
available.
Unfortunately, most
clergy treat recovery groups at arms length. Christ Centered
recovery groups are made up of individuals who desperately seek a
reasonable solution to their problems. These same individuals want, NO, they
need more than just listening to others. The Helping Hand can
be considered
an extension to the usual recovery group session.
Now, let me tell you
about The Helping Hand. We are a Ministry of Healing that is
Christ centered, meaning that we know and accept that Christ is the
Master Healer. We also know that God supplied people who, with
their gifts, provide help beyond the traditional Recovery Group setting.
The Helping Hand is
prepared to provide, services
as may be necessary to effect positive change, and help maintain
that change. James Aquila is
an Certified Chaplin, who will be in charge of each counseling
session.
Each session provides the individual with:

Separate, and
individual Biblical counseling

Lesson guides and
other written material necessary for study
-
Total
confidentiality. What is said in counseling stays in
counseling. Events revealed within counseling are not even shared with the clergy.
The Helping Hand will provide
the subscriber/donor with:

The Newsletter "The
Helping Hand" to up-date you each month on what is happening with
Recovery Issues

Inform you of
natural health products to help alleviate craving associated with
addictions

Articles relating to
Biblical counseling.

The Helping Hand is a
self-sustaining ministry dependent upon the generosity of
individuals seeking help, as well as donations from others who wish to see
God at work within a Christ centered healing ministry.
We are totally dependent upon
your sustaining and ongoing donation to make sure that our ministry
goes forward. This is achieved by making a monthly
pledge of Twenty dollars or more. All donations
are tax deductible. We will be glad to furnish you with
references upon request.
